Proud to announce that our Equines by Design bred mule, "Blue Steel" was named Three Year Old Futurity Champion at Jake Clark Mule Days, Powell, Wyoming held this June 2006!
The 3yo Futurity consisted of a Reining pattern, Cowworking and a Trail course. Our entry "Blue Steel" was high scorer in reining, cowworking and tied for high score in trail.	Thank You! Mark for your friendship and exhibiting "Blue Steel" in the 3yo Futurity!
"Blue Steel" was awarded a Custom Trophy Belt Buckle, a Custom Vogt Silver Trophy Snaffle Bit and a paycheck!	"Blue Steel" was out of one of our King Fritz bred mares and by our Amarillo Slim son "Big and Rich". Started on cattle by Martin Black, Texas and Idaho, and advanced training by Bar S Quarterhorses.
2007 - we had a great 3 year old entry - probably one of the best minded, don't hold a grudge, put up with some pressure kind of john mules we have ever bred and trained! "Tuff to Beat" was reserve overall in the futurity - scored 105 out of 105 in the Trail competition (we also had the consignment entry that was High Selling Mule at the auction).
